June 2025On June 7th, during the Strawberry Festival, my studio doors will open for the first time, inviting visitors into a space shaped by inquiry, creativity, and the layered dialogue between past and present.
As a genealogist and multidisciplinary artist, my process is deeply rooted in collage—piecing together fragments, rearranging narratives, and finding meaning in the interplay of imagery and research. Vintage posters and artworks line the studio walls, each chosen with intention, serving as metaphors for the exploration of lineage, memory, and identity. This is a space for contemplation, transformation, and storytelling through visual form. Tickets are available at sandyspringmuseum.org, and I look forward to welcoming you inside—a studio where history meets art, thought meets creation, and every layer reveals something new. A studio is more than a workspace—it is a landscape of ideas, a reflection of evolving inquiry, and a quiet witness to discovery. I hope to see you there. |
